Can I commission you to draw something for me?
Shoot me a detailed message via the contact tab including your idea, preferred size, medium (colored or graphite pencil), and timeline. Please have reference photos or materials ready. I cannot guarantee that I will be available for a commission, but I can surely discuss pricing and an estimated date of availability.
How can I see your work in person?
Come on by my space- The Studio Gallery. Located right off Main Street at 12 E. Cedar St. in Three Forks, Montana. My regular business hours are 10-6 Tuesday through Saturday. This may vary some in the event of personal happenings- so if you’re planning a trip out double check my social media or shoot me a message.
What if I want to buy an original piece, but can’t pick it up?
Originals can be shipped quickly and safely! You’ll be informed every step of the way and receive your artwork without incident; or your money back.
I received my artwork package and it was damaged. Can you send me a new one?
Dang! All artwork is packaged with protective materials, labeled as fragile, and sent via USPS. They do a really great job- but sometimes packages are inevitably damaged. I cannot replace your print or give you a refund, but please send me a message via the contact tab and I will do my best to help. Original artworks, framed or unframed, are shipped fully insured and will be refunded if damaged. All shipment disputes must include purchase receipt and photo evidence.
Can you design our logo?
Admittedly, I am quite lacking in the graphic design department. If you want something strictly hand drawn, I may be able to help you. If you are looking for logo, tattoo, branding, or other design services I know many talented artists that I would be happy to point you towards.
I made a mistake on my order, what should I do?
If you have NOT received an email notification that your order has been fulfilled, please send me a detailed message of your requested changes via the contact tab and I will make necessary adjustments. I cannot make changes to orders that have already shipped.
It’s been a few days since I ordered and nothing has shown up, did you forget about me?
Nope! Each print is made for each order submitted (with love). That means it could take a few days, maybe even up to a week, for me to get my hands on your artwork. You will receive an email notification once your order has been fulfilled. If for any reason this process takes longer, I will email you to inform you of the delay. If your package does not show up within a week of your fulfillment notification, please send me a message via the contact form.
Do you offer any payment plans on original artworks?
Yes! Collecting artwork is a special and worthy endeavor. If you would like to purchase an original, but cannot pay in full, I can work with you to formulate an appropriate payment plan. You will receive your purchase once all payments have been made.
I sent you a message on social media with no response. What’s up with that?
Hey, thanks for reaching out! For me, social media is a huge productivity killer. I try to avoid it- which means sometimes I miss important questions. Your best bet is to send me an email via the contact form here on my website. I promise I’ll answer those!
Can you give me some advice on becoming an artist?
As a full-time artist, I get a lot of questions on how to further one’s art career. Everyone’s path will, and should, be as unique their their style and point of view. My only solid advice is to be consistent, persistent, and let your work be guided by your passions.
I heard you on the MeatEater podcast talk about your gun dog portrait work. Can I commission you to draw mine?
Ah, these have been some of my favorite drawings. I so enjoyed creating special portraits of beautiful and hard working field dogs over the years. While I will surely revisit this specialty some day- my work has evolved therefore I am focusing on a broader range of subjects at the time. That being said- my workload is quite fluid so shoot me a message via the contact tab for more information on pricing and availability.
I’ve booked a commission piece with you, what can I expect?
Thank you! I pride myself on being informal and very easy to work with. If your commission is booked, we will have discussed all transaction and contactual details. From this point on, you can expect an open line of communication and my best work.
