Inspiration from Beyond the Easel
I forever seek balance between the sedentary, meticulous nature of my craft and the unbridled wildness of outdoor places I love. Photography allows a welcome reprieve from tedious pencil work. My endearment for photo taking birthed from a longing to return time and time again to the beautiful places I’d been. Advancements in equipment, including a 600mm telephoto lens, unbarred opportunities for photographing wildlife and candid moments. I think of photography as a way to manifest visual interpretations of what nature provides so matter-of-factly. Today, my camera is never far.
